SETUP
FOR WINDOWS VISTA USERS
- Install the original CD that came with your GPS
device.
- Follow the directions in the guide that came with
the CD.
- Finish the installation and remove the CD from the
computer (Very Important!)
- Download Semi-Full Vista Version Select Save and
save the file to your desktop. When it is done downloading,
click Open or Run. If you do not have this option,
you can find the new icon on your desktop and double
click on it from there.
- When installing, make sure to select INTERNATIONAL
USERS ONLY, or the installation won’t work.
Click Next for all the other options.
- Connect the device to computer via the USB port.
Windows should then try and install the device automatically
and you should get a message that says that your hardware
was installed and working properly. If not please
move on to step
A. If the device does not
automatically install to the computer, go to your Start
menu and find "Computer." Right click and select
"Manage" B.
Under "System Tools," you will find "Device
Manager." In the device manager, you will look
under "Other Devices" or "Ports"
and look for either Antaris® 4 GPS Receiver or LAS
Tracking Key.
C. Right click on it and
select "Update Drive." This should successfully
install the LAS GPS Tracking Device on your Windows
Vista operating system.
