SkyTRX Trouble Shooting

Missing ATR File

ALTERNATIVE INSTRUCTIONS

Problem with unit coming up with a message asking for a file, it’s generally the ATR file. Here is a walkthrough (step-by-step) on how to find this file.

ATR File Walkthrough (With CD)

1)       When the prompt asks for the file, click on browse

2)       Once your in the browse window go up to the top and go to your drop down window. Select the CD Drive that the SkyTRX  CD is in.

3)       Once your in this drive, three options (2 folders and 1 file) will show up. The one file (ATR06xLUSB.dll) is the file you need. Double click on it.

4)       This will bring you back to the original prompt asking you for the file. The path of the file will not show up in the box below, so just select ok.

5)       This will finish up the installation of the SkyTRX Mini Tracker.

 ATR File Walkthrough 2 (NO CD)

This is a walkthrough for any customer that doesn’t have their original setup disc and needs the file to continue. Save file to your desk top Down Load ATR File

1)      Save above ATR file onto your desktop

2)       Follow procedure for New Hardware Wizard

3)       When prompted for file, select browse and go to your drop down window. Select the Desktop and locate the saved file.

4)       Double Click the file and it should bring you back to the prompt that asked you for it.

5)       Select ok and the hardware wizard should complete.
